Leadership Development that Delivers

The Leadership West Yellowhead program provides high-quality leadership training in a format that is proven to deliver tangible results.

Employees who participate in the program will

  • Develop and improve communication and interpersonal skills
  • Become more effective in team and group settings
  • Develop a professional network across sectors and across the West Yellowhead region
  • Learn and apply leadership and project management skills through their work on a Community Action Project

The program schedule is designed in order to maximize the impact of the learning, with 10 program days scheduled over 7 months. This format allows employees to effectively integrate their newly-acquired skills and knowledge into their work as they progress through the program.

Who should participate?

The program is ideally suited to employees who are relatively new to a leadership role in the workplace, or those who may take on leadership roles in the future.
