COMMUNITY ACTION PROJECTS - NOW ACCEPTING PROPOSALS!

An integral part of Leadership West Yellowhead’s curriculum is the Community Action Project. Participants work in groups to complete projects for community organizations located in the region. The projects challenge class members to put their leadership skills to practice in the real world. They provide participants with a unique opportunity to engage with a community organization, achieving a tangible outcome that benefits the community.

Community organizations from across the region are invited to submit project proposals. Projects selected for the program will have a team of 3 – 5 members volunteer approximately 6 hours per month each for five months in order to complete it.
