Who can apply
Emerging leaders from all sectors can apply to Leadership West Yellowhead. A maximum of 20 people will be selected each year to participate in this 7-month program. Residents of Jasper, Hinton, Edson, Grande Cache, Yellowhead County, and Woodlands County are eligible to apply.
Course Cost
The 2010 Program Fee of $1,750 +GST covers food and lodging for the retreats, all materials, and all costs (excluding travel) for the monthly Learning Days.
Typically employers will pay the Program Fee – and reap the benefits of strengthened leadership. Participants are asked to pay a minimum of 10% of the Program Fee ($175) from personal funds as an indication of commitment.
Limited Tuition Assistance is available to successful program applicants who demonstrate financial need.

Course Schedule
The program runs from April to October, 2010.
Sessions are held once a month, and include:
- Opening retreat ( two days & two nights) - April 8 - 10, 2010
- Learning Days (one day per month) - April to September 2010
- April 29, May 27, June 24, July 22, August 19, September 16, 2010
- Closing retreat and graduation – (two days & two nights) - October 21 - 23, 2010
